Get inspiration to create

The presentation of the new collection is the result of many months of work. At DUNE, ideas are generated in a moodboard where our design, marketing and commercial teams present their concepts. Created with magazine cuttings, inspiring images and photographs that come from the world of fashion, art and decoration. One of our most powerful sources of inspiration comes from “Fashion Week” in Milan, New York and London. DUNE reimagines the design of leading fashion brands as beautiful tiles. In art, especially the abstract and more modern are combined with the latest trends in the decorative field. Fairs such as Maison & Objet, 100% Design in London, the Furniture Fair in Milan gives us inspiration reflected in our pieces.

After close analysis of all concepts, the DUNE design team chooses main trends to further develop. In our 2018 collection, we have chosen the following:

Back to classics

It’s time to renew the classics. Traditional designs are reinvented through colors and combinations leading to new decorative uses. The years of wear in old pottery and the majolica become the inspiration. Thanks to the reinterpretation, the decoration of the different series find the avant-garde in the past.

Neutral nude

White, beige and gray lead this palette which combines well with pastel colors that are still trending. You can create monochromatic spaces where the minimal style is imposed or take advantage to add touches of color and give personality to your project. The neutral nude has inspired the Fancy series in grey, white, and beige as well as the Just White in a matt and glossy finish.

Stripes fever

Straight lines become a game in which you can create perfect harmony or absolute chaos. Geometric patterns are consolidated as decorative elements where the creative component takes a very important role. Our most distinctive series, STRIPES and TRANSVERSE have been conquered by this trend.
