The architectural and building atelier Jakob Gómez designed the interior of San Juan Grill, a restaurant sited in Monterrey, México.
The design shows the company’s origin that was founded in 1952 and expanded to become one of the most important butcher’s in the city.
The shop had a notable presence in the city so they decided to make the project richer and created a restaurant. The aim was developing stays that transmitted the warm and honest atmosphere of the original business. To get this feeling, interiors have been designed with traditional materials such as ceramics, iron, wood and leather. Also, glass and metals have been used to get a contrast between tradition and modernity in the inside.
“PERSEPOLIS 60X60” by Dune Ceramica was chosen as the floor tile for the restaurant. It is a distinguished deco tile inspired in the designs of Persian carpets and with the matching “CENEFA PERSEPOLIS” and “TACO PERSEPOLIS” they bring luxury inspired in Far East to the restaurant.
