ORIENTAL VIEW DUNE TRENDS
Dune 2014 collection contains three proposals belonging to this trend, Oriental View
May begins with the fifth trend of Dune Cerámica: Oriental View. India, Maghreb and Byzantium inspire couturiers ands designers around the world, filling with exoticism many fashion shows and fairs.
Theodora of Byzantium, wife of Emperor Justiniano, already inspired Channel in their pre-fall11 collection. Her influence comes back in autumn 2012 by the hand of Dolce & Gabbana, filling catwalks with princesses who wear mosaics in clothes and accessories. The passion for mosaic also invades the world of decoration. SECULUM is the tribute to Byzantium by Dune and the same as ANTIQUA.
India influences many of the creations that we have seen. Mandala, the indian pattern that represents the cycle of time, is a source of inspiration which radiates colour and energy. At Dune, we add to our collection this new ceramic mosaic chrged with optimism and refined designs: MANDALA.
